Scottsdale Ranch is a master-planned residential community that started development in 1984 and is located south of Shea Blvd, west of N 112th Street and east of N 96th Street. The community was developed on approximately 1,120 acres and ranges from one dwelling unit to an acre, to multi-family units at 16 dwelling units to an acre. There are over 40 different subdivisions of apartments, condominiums, townhomes, patio homes, tennis villas and single-family homes. Majority of the homes are single-level in either gated or non-gated neighborhoods, but multi-level options are available as well.
Waterfront properties are an option in Scottsdale Ranch real estate due to Lake Serena, a 42-acre lake that the community is centered around and the reason why some refer to the community as the “oasis in the desert”. There are five miles of curving shoreline and usage of lake amenities like row boats, pontoons and kayaks, that are open to all Scottsdale Ranch residents. Fishing is also available since Lake Serena is stocked with bass, blue gill, white amur, carpe and croppie.
