Terravita is a North Scottsdale guard gated Del Webb community located just south of Carefree Highway, east of Scottsdale Road. It consist of 23 distinctive neighborhoods with amazing views of The Boulders and Black Mountain. Homes in Terravita were built between 1994-1998. La Buena Vista Estates is located within Terravita, however it is a separate subdivision with 173 one and two story homes built by US Homes. Both neighborhoods offer mainly single family homes with fewer apartments and condos.

Terravita is desirable from younger families to retirees and seasonal residents. The Terravita Golf Club has an award winning 18-hole golf course, 35,000 square foot clubhouse, olympic size pool, six lighted tennis courts, a fitness center and a restaurant. The community committee offers organized activities such as hiking clubs, bridge clubs and so much more. Residents enjoy 6 miles manicured walking and running trails within the community.

Cave Creek and Carefree are just a few minutes away where residents have access to The Boulders Resorts, fine dining, eclectic boutiques and plenty of hiking opportunities. Desert Ridge Marketplace, CityNorth, Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarters are just about a 15-20 minute drive.

The area is served by the Cave Creek Unified School District whit the A-Rated Black Mountain Elementary, Desert Sun Academy, Horseshoe Trails, Sonoran Trails Middle School, and Cactus Shadows High School. Other choices include Foothills Academy, Annunciation Catholic School and Bellavista College Preparatory School.
